Injections or Fillers (Restylane®, Perlane®, Juvederm®)
BOTOX®
BOTOX® Cosmetic, or botulinum toxin type A, is a protein commonly used to non-surgically reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial wrinkles. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes, forehead and mouth to smooth crow`s feet, frown and worry lines, and lines on the neck. The injections block nerve impulses, weakening muscles to relax wrinkles and give the skin a rejuvenated look. BOTOX® Cosmetic may also be useful for migraine headaches, excessive sweating, and eye and neck muscle spasms.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels remove damaged outer layers of skin on the face to smooth texture, reduce scarring, and remove blemishes and pre-cancerous growths to produce healthy, glowing skin. There are three types of chemical peels, ranging from mild to strong - alphahydroxy acids (AHAs), tricholoroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol and formula strengths are tailored to each patient. Peels can be combined with other procedures such as facelifts for a younger look.
Lip Enhancement
Full and vivacious lips have always been recognized as aesthetically important features. Some of us, however, are born with thin, ill-defined lips, or our lips lose their fullness with age. But the appearance of our lips is now within our control. Fine lines and wrinkles, thin lips and a drooping corner of the mouth are all areas that can be aided with injectable fillers. The market is ever changing, with new products appearing rapidly. Care is individualized to provide a safe and effective treatment option.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion reduces the appearance of mild to moderate sun damage, scarring, wrinkles and other superficial skin problems by exfoliating the outer layer of skin to provide a fresh, glowing, younger appearance. Results are comparable to a light chemical peel and should be immediately visible, although multiple treatments are usually required for full effect. The procedure is particularly helpful for Asian and dark-skinned patients who risk skin discoloration with other treatment options.
